AW 2003 is seen by many of one of Helmut Lang's most groundbreaking seasons, and these exceedingly rare aviator flight bondage pants were the pinnacle of the show. Helmut's take on vintage utilitarian US Air-force flight pants creates something provocatively abstract and elevated. To find the fully loaded version of these in a sample size 46 / black is almost exceedingly impossible today. Featuring intense rope lace up details, heavy metal Lampo tab zipper pulls at the hem, nylon tab inserts, attached racing strips, and details that are traditionally found on vintage military aviator gear. The pants have a slim, elongated cut.
