Vivienne Westwood -1980/1990 Velvet Pirate Pants Original Vintage Red Tag S
VIVIENNE WESTWOOD - WORLDS END. 1980/90s - VELOUR PIRATE PANTS. The pirate pants were first created in 1981 for the pirate collection. Here is a very fancy version made at the end of the 80s or really early 90s because the brand tag is before the Gold/Red Label period. The fabric is super thick and luxurious, showing the fanciness and knowledge of Vivienne for fashion and her on esthetic. The color is TRUE black, I had to use a lot of light for it to photograph well, the fit is high waist.
It is about 30 years old and the velour is in amazing condition. I wore this one once only. There are treasures to be found everywhere! Lets enjoy the why, where, and when of fashion history together! Im opening my archive so that I can refresh my closet and share what I have found while traveling.
