These are a fantastic pair of trousers for riding in all seasons. If you are a Rukka user or fan, you will already know about their brilliant quality. These are approx 4 years old and were at the time the top of the Rukka range.

Although discontinued and replaced by the Arma-T range, the Arma-S version looks to give better protection with the Super Fabric. These trousers come with the D30 Rukka exclusive knee and hip protection which is the upgraded protection: soft, pliable, breathable and they go solid on impact to disperse the forces. To keep out the weather they have a 3 layer laminated Gore-Tex Pro outer material so the water runs off the outside, rather than soak into your Cordura before any Gore-Tex liner stops the water getting in. Rukka braces come as standard and can be removed if needed.

The lining - made of the popular Outlast - is a by-product of space research and keeps you warm when it's cold out, cool when it gets warm out. The liner is removable for the summer and is zipped into the waist and into the bottom of each leg as shown in a photo. A full length waist zip is also standard. The seat section has Rukka's in-built air cushioning and the outer seat material is anti slip, so that helps hold you firmly on the saddle. With the white stitching and grey Super Fabric ceramic knee covers, these look so much better than the very last, all black versions. This pair are Rukka size 50: I take a 34 and these do up to the smallest setting so there is a bit of room above that if needed. They are a comfortable sports fit and are snug and not flappy when riding, with stretch panels to keep them comfy. They are the Rukka C1 length (see photo) which is almost a 31 leg. I have replaced them with a C2 pair very long! And now, eventually, I've decided to let these go. I wore them maybe less than 10 times (the photo of the bottom of the legs shows how little wear there is) so they are in great shape and they have been kept indoors in a dry cupboard when not used. To make sure they arrive in "as new" condition, I have also washed the linings, and used Nikwax Gore-Tex liquids to wash and reproof the material, just to make ensure they are fresh and ready to wear. These really are the "dogs" and look and feel great whilst keeping you protected from the elements and impact if it came to that.
