Vintage 1940s mens fishtail trousers, Austin Reed

  
A fantastic pair of vintage 1940's fishtail trousers by Austin Reed. Thick knit, black wool with button up fly, one hook and loop fastener and buttons front and back for braces, main inner button is made from abalone and the others are black plastic with the Austin Reed branding. They have a light front pleat and grosgrain piping down the sides, high waisted front and fishtail back. Very well tailored pair of trousers. Good used condition overall with some signs of use and wear, small white mark to one leg but more of a surface mark, a few small pulls / snags, a couple of tiny nibbles and pin holes when held to the light, very wearable.

Sizing is approx as follows. They have not been dry cleaned by us so may require cleaning prior to use, they will require pressing following travel.
